3. Groundhog Day Celebration

The Howell Nature Center invites the public to a Groundhog Day Celebration Thursday, Feb. 2. The fun begins at 7:45 a.m. with the long-awaited prediction coming at 8:15 a.m. sharp. No matter the weather – wind, rain, snow, sleet, or sunshine – Woody will make her 14th prediction at the Nature Center. After her prediction, enjoy a free continental breakfast. 4. Brighton City Council Meeting

The Brighton City Council meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. at . Agenda items include hearing presentations from the Brighton Area Fire Authority (BAFA) and the Downtown Development Authority (DDA). The council will also discuss the veterans' memorial improvement project.
