1. The weather

Today will be mostly cloudy, with a 40 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m., and a high near 51 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 35 degrees.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Sunday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

  • Costco, 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd: $3.75
  • CITGO, 1050 E Grand River: $3.77
  • Meijer, 8650 W Grand River Ave: $3.79

3. Euchre

Euchre is offered at 10 a.m. each Monday at the Brighton Senior Center, located inside the Miller Intergenerational Center. Drop-in cost is just $1.

4. Powderpuff Football Game

Brighton High School Senior girls will face off against the junior girls in the second annual Powderpuff Football Game at The Dog Pound today at 7 p.m.
