1. The weather

Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 82 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, and a low around 57 degrees.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Wednesday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Holy Spirit Open House

4. Ladies Swap Charity Event

There will be a Ladies "All Item" Swap Party today at 6 p.m. at 22200 Pontiac Trl, South Lyon. Bring those slightly used household items and swap them with others... get gifts for birthdays or something for yourself!  Items for kids of all ages are welcome.
