Good Morning Brighton - Brighton Area Historical Society Holiday Special

1. The weather

Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 35 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a chance of flurries and a low around 24 degrees.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Thursday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Scranton Holiday Hangout

invites 7th and 8th graders for a Holiday Hangout today from 2:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. right after school. Activities include a DJ with music & dancing, food, and games. This is a fun opportunity  for the students to socialize with their friends after school. Admission is either $1 or a pet item. All proceeds will benefit the Livingston County Animal Shelter.

4. High School Holiday Concert

The Brighton High School Choir will perform its holiday concert, "A Winter's Gift of Song," tonight at 7 p.m. at the . Admission is free.
