1. The weather
Today will be mostly sunny, with areas of frost before 8 a.m., wind gusts as high as 29 miles per hour, and a high near 66 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 49 degrees.

2. Gasoline prices
Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Wednesday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Livingston Regional Job Fair
The Livingston Regional Job Fair is open today from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. to veterans, active military, reservists and National Guard members only. Bring proof of veteran status. The event opens to the public from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The job fair will be held at 5768 E Grand River Ave, Howell. Interview clothing is mandatory. Participants who are searching for jobs should bring copies of their resumes and be prepared to meet with potential employers. Employers who wish to participate in the Livingston Regional Job Fair will find the registration form online at www.lcmw.org. Reservations are due by March 30, 2012. A list of participating emloyers and positions for which they are recruiting, tips for job seekers and other details are also available at www.lcmw.org.

4. Celebrate Earth Day with Recycled Jewelry
The will celebrate Earth Day by using puzzle pieces, buttons, ribbon and wire, recycle items to create unique jewelry. Ages 8-10. Registration begins 4/4, to register call 810-229-6571, ext. 223.
