1. The weather

Showers and thunderstorms are expected today with a high near 69 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 51 degrees.

2. Fuel prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Sunday afternoon, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Hartland Players Auditions

The Hartland Players will hold auditions for Jeff Daniels' adult comedy Norma and Wanda at the Hartland Educational Support Service Center (the old Hartland High School) 9525 E. Highland Rd., at 7 tonight. A script is available for perusal at the Cromaine Library Village branch, 3688 N. Hartland Rd. in Hartland, and the Cromaine Library Crossroads branch, 1788 N. 4. Board of Education meeting

The Brighton Area Schools Board of Education meets at 7 tonight at the . On the agenda are electronic record keeping and the Livingston Educational Service Agency (LESA) Head Start Service Agreement.
