1. The weather

Today will be sunny with a high near 38 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 28 degrees.

2. Gasoline prices

Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Sunday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

  • Costco, 6700 Whitmore Lake Rd: $3.29
  • BP, 9400 Lee Rd: $3.35

3. Mid-Winter Break

Brighton Area Schools will be closed today for Mid-Winter Recess.

4. Teen Movie

The Brighton District Library will host a teen movie today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This month's movie is Real Steel, starring Hugh Jackman, rated PG-13. Ages 11-18 can register by calling 810-229-6571.

5. Trivia
