3. Christmas Boxes for the Troops
The VFW and The Ladies Auxiliary of Post # 4357 will be packing Christmas boxes today at 7 p.m. at the , located at 10590 E. Grand River. Items needed are beef jerky, energy drinks, drink mixes, homemade cookies, (wrapped and in plastic ware), cracker and cookie snack packs (cheese, peanut butter, etc). antibacterial or baby wipes, eye drops, lip balm, razors, shave cream in bar soap form or plastic tubes (no cans), toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, packaged AA or AAA batteries, decks of cards, frisbees, Hacky Sacs, baseballs, footballs, basketballs and homemade cards and letters. Monetary donations are also welcome for postage (in the form of a check made out to Ladies Aux. VFW Post 4357). Please give monetary donations in a sealed envelope to the bartender on duty.
