Every summer since I was a child, my family has spent a week at Camp Dearborn, located in Milford. We would fill our tent with the belongings we needed for the week, then we were off to roam the 626 acres of freedom that Camp Dearborn offers.
From paddle boats, to night cruises on the water, evening dances at the pavilion, lake swimming, pool swimming, volleyball, baseball, just about any outdoor activity you can imagine, including arts and crafts as well as planned hikes to Kensington.
The standard week that tent campers are allotted flies by before you know it. As an adult with my own children, we bring our camper and stay for a little longer. The RV sites have more freedom for check-ins, allowing you stay whenever you wish, given availability, as well as if you bring your own tent.
