Rogers suffered a hairline fracture of his wrist over the weekend.

U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Brighton) suffered a hairline fracture of his wrist while competing with this 16-year-old son over the weekend, according to the Detroit Free Press.

The nature of the contest was undisclosed, but apparently victory went to Rogers' son.

Rogers, who has represented the 8th Congressional District since 2001, was re-elected to his office this past November, defeating Democratic challenger Lance Enderle. Rogers is also Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
