1. Friends of Highland Library Preview Sale

  • When: Thursday, April 18, 2013, 5:00 pm
  • Where: Highland Township Public Library, 444 Beach Farm Cir, Highland
  • What: Thursday evening is the Preview Sale for Friends Members only. Be the first to find some great deals at our HUGE Book Sale. We'll have the Community Room and the Lower Level Group Study Room open and filled with great finds at great prices.  Paperbacks, hardcovers, fiction and nonfiction. Children's books as well! Find your next great read.

2. HBA Meeting - Utilities Update

  • When: Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 5:30 pm
  • Where: 1840 S Old Us Highway 23, Brighton
  • What: Representatives from Consumers Energy and DTE Energy will present utilities updates, installation best practices, and energy efficiency rebate programs at the Home Builders Association of Livingston County membership meeting on April 17th at Memories Restaurant in Brighton.

  • When: Thursday, April 18, 2013, 7:30 am
  • Where: Grand River Grill, 2394 Genoa Business Park Dr, Brighton
  • What: Tom Harris, an entrepreneur, business and personal coach, speaker and author who does workshops on a variety of topics, including small business management, marketing, and personal development will be talking to us about "Reinventing Ourselves." The public is invited to hear our speakers and find out a little about what the Brighton Optimists are doing in the community. First-time visitors and guests get their breakfast for free!
