Memorial Day weekend is here and for many of us, that means an extra day to relax and spend time with family.
It also means a time to reflect and be thankful for those who have died serving our country and to honor our American soldiers still fighting for us today.

- In Brighton, the will begin at 10 a.m. at Brighton High School. The parade will continue down West Main Street to the Veterans Memorial rock in Mill Pond Park, where there will be a memorial ceremony.
- Immediately following the parade, the new Veterans Memorial will hold a , next to the Mill Pond.
