4. A Washtenaw County woman between 75 and 85 years old is the first Michigan death from West Nile Virus in 2012, AnnArbor.com reported. There were two Michigan deaths from the virus last year.

5. Several human body parts were found Wednesday in a sanitary sewer interceptor line in Sterling Heights by a crew working on a grouting project at 15 Mile Road, east of Maple Lane. Police are working to identify the person, The Detroit Free Press reported.
