Week in Review: Election Candidates, Jaws of Life Training and Facade Grant

A summary of news for the week ending Oct. 22.

Here is what you might have missed in Brighton news this week:

  • This week began our election coverage. Each day, we introduced a new school board candidate. There are four candidates running for two open seats in the November election.
  • On Monday, we announced award winners from the Brighton Art Guild's Art Harvest Fine Art Juried Exhibition.
  • On Tuesday, reported that the Downtown Development Authority was moving forward with site testing and surveying for a possible parking garage at 121 North Street.
  • On Thursday, we reported how the Brighton Area Fire Authority trained with Jaws of Life on vehicles donated by Ford Motor Company.
