A summary of news for the week ending Nov. 5.

Here is what you might have missed in Brighton news this week:

  • On Tuesday, we reported that copper wire was stolen from a house under construction in Brighton Township along with other police briefs from the Livingston County Sheriff's Department.
  • Also on Wednesday, we reported that Bank of America, due to public outcry, decided to drop its proposed $5 debit card fee.
  • On Friday, we launched our November 2011 Voter's Guide. The Voter's Guide has all of the information you need for Election Day, including candidate profiles, voting precint times and locations.
  • On Saturday, we reported on The Wooden Spoon's new Raw Bar menu and how the restaurant was currently in the process of obtaining a Resort Liquor License to serve wine, craft beers and specialty cocktails.
