Brighton's Fine Art & Acoustic Music Festival

Presented by the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce and The State Bank:

In its
31st year, this event is a three day extravaganza on Main Street in
Downtown Brighton. As one of the most prestigious juried art festivals
in Southeast Michigan, the festival draws highly talented artists who
travel from across the state and nation to participate.

Each year, Brighton’s Fine Art and Acoustic Music Festival draws large
crowds from Livingston County, Oakland County, Metro Detroit, Ann Arbor,
Lansing and all over. People partake in event activities while
savoring local foods and listening to aesthetically soothing music. The
event is a perfect harmony combining art, music and setting!

Multiple stages of acoustic music will be featured on Main Street,
adding ambiance to the event. Visitors are able to speak one-on-one
with artisans about their original works in glass, watercolor, oils,
sculpture, photography, pottery, jewelry, woodcarvings and more. Spend a
few hours strolling through this summer festival – truly a treat for
all senses!

Guests may also enjoy The Grape tent...an outdoor
wine tasting venue and art gallery. Local sommelier, Paul Hannah, of
Just Grape Juice, will be offering a wine tasting experience sure to
please any discriminating palate. Passports for your wine trip around
the world are just $5, and are good for 3 tastes or 1 glass of wine.

Artwork by local artists will be on display in The Grape tent
throughout the weekend, featuring artists who participated in the
“Brighton Paint Out” earlier this summer. A collaboration between the
City of Brighton’s Arts & Culture Advisory Commission, the Brighton
Art Guild and the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce, this
program invited artists to gather along the Mill Pond and paint downtown
Brighton.
