Brighton Area Fire Authority Open House

The Brighton Area Fire Authority is hosting it’s annual fire prevention open house this Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 10-3 pm.

The event is free and open to the public and held at our Station 31 located on 615 W. Grand River Ave. Brighton MI 48116.

Free parking is available in the City Municipal lots and businesses adjacent to the Fire Station. Stop on by and meet your hometown Firefighters as well as Sparky the Fire Dog and Freddy the Fire Truck. This event is intended for kids of all ages including adults.

Stop on by and learn about this year's theme "Have Two Ways Out." Kids can enter our contest to win a fire truck ride by completing a scavenger hunt on site. The event will include:



  • Fire Extinguisher Demonstration

  • Bounce House

  • Smoke and Fire Safety House

  • Apparatus Display

  • Extrication Demonstration utilizing the Jaws of Life

  • Air-Bag Demonstrations

  • Residential Sprinkler demonstration with Live Fire
