Kroger Invites Community to Brighton Store Grand Re-Opening


 Celebrations will feature giveaways and specials


Customers will find a new look and a convenient new layout at the Brighton Kroger store, which will celebrate its grand re-opening on Wednesday, November 7. The Kroger store, located at 9968 E. Grand River, invites the community to join them in the celebration. The first 300 customers to arrive at the store starting at 6 a.m. will receive a free reusable grocery bag and a $10 Kroger gift card.

Shoppers will notice several new store features and upgraded departments at the Kroger store. The renovations will include an updated destination for a soup, salad and sushi island, as well as an open seafood case and an upgraded service meat case.


“The Brighton Kroger has been remodeled to enhance the customer experience for convenience and product selection,” said John Schroeder, Brighton Kroger Store Manager. “The store updates allow Kroger to conveniently offer quality products to people who may have a limited time to shop.”

In addition to department upgrades, the recycling center has been relocated to the front of the store, making it more accessible to customers. The store also will feature cheerful décor and lighting, and additional check lanes to ease the checkout process.


Shoppers may also utilize the in-store pharmacy, which gives customers the convenience to fill prescriptions seven days a week.


The Brighton Kroger is open 6 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week. The Kroger Pharmacy is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday.
