Southeast Michigan McDonald's Ski Slope Takeover

To celebrate the beginning of the 2014 Winter Olympics and encourage the community to enjoy the outdoors and stay active throughout the winter season, Southeast Michigan McDonald's is hosting a ski slope takeover at Mt. Holly Ski and Snowboard Resort on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014.

From 9 a.m. -5 p.m., a McDonald's ski team will be up and down Mt. Holly's 19 trails and three snowboard parks offering skiers and snowboarders the chance to receive complimentary giveaways via a scavenger hunt on the slopes. Giveaway items include McDonald's-branded wearables, McCafé coffee travel mugs, and Arch Cards and coupons that can be redeemed at participating Michigan McDonald's, among other items. There also will be a meet and greet with Ronald McDonald, who will be entertaining skiers on one of the beginner hills.

Inside the lodge, guests can refuel with samples of McDonald’s rich and bold McCafé Coffee and soft baked chocolate chip cookies.

Southeast Michigan McDonald’s will further surprise and delight Mt. Holly guests by randomly distributing FREE lift tickets to 100 lucky individuals that arrive between 9 and 10 a.m. The giveaway is valid only on Feb. 8 while supplies last, one per person.
