Strengthening the Parent-Child Relationship
Parents will learn how to use behavioral PRIDE skills (Praise, Reflection, Imitation, Description, and Enthusiasm) when interacting with their children. These skills have been found to be effective in improving the parent-child relationship, building self-esteem in children, increasing appropriate behavior in children, and decreasing inappropriate or problematic behavior.
