12th annual MLK Blood Drive - Brighton St. Pat's

The Knights of Columbus, Fr. J. Leo McCann Council #7304 at St. Patrick Parish in Brighton will sponsor the 12th annual blood drive in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Saturday, January 14 from 10 am - 3:45 pm in the Parish Life Center Gym.

(This blood drive is not affiliated with the estate of Dr. King.)

Dick Koziara has been the chairman of this event for the last dozen years.

Walk-ins are welcome, as space permits, but you may have to wait!

Blood donors should be at least 17-years-old (16 with written parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds (and meet height and weight requirements) and be in general good health.

About the American Red Cross  The Great Lakes Blood Region serves 65 counties, and needs to collect about 700 units of blood a day to meet patient needs in hospitals across the state.  In addition to providing blood to our community, the American Red Cross also provides relief to victims of disaster, trains millions in lifesaving skills, serves as a communication link between U.S. military members and their families, and assists victims of international disasters or conflicts.
