Help 'Fill the Bus' for Toys for Tots

Help volunteers from the South Lyon police and fire departments as well as U.S. Marines from Selfridge Air National Guard base to "fill the bus" for Toys for Tots  Saturday, Nov. 12 and Sunday, Nov. 13 at the South Lyon McDonald’s, located at 22101 Pontiac Trail.

Donations  of new, unwrapped toys, new children's clothes and cash will be accepted during the following hours: Saturday: 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

The new toys and clothes will be placed inside a school bus parked adjacent to the restaurant with the hope of completely filling the bus. 
On Saturday at 1 p.m., Ronald McDonald, McDonald’s Chief Happiness Officer, will make an appearance.

“We are delighted to once again support the Toys for Tots program,” said Elaine Perry, South Lyon McDonald’s restaurant owner.  “This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and help those in need this holiday season.”
