United Way Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Breakfast

The Livingston County United Way’s 2011 Annual Meeting & Volunteer Recognition Breakfast is scheduled for Thursday, March 17, startng at 7:30 a.m. at Crystal Gardens Banquet Center in Howell.

Election of the board of directors as well as a celebration of the past year's accomplishments are on the agenda.

Several people will be recognized for community service and commitment to United Way, receiving the following awards: the Donald Epley Lifetime Community Service Award, Charles W. Itsell Volunteer of the Year Award, Youth of Distinction Award, and the Youth Organization of the Year.

In addition, the new Randy Rudisill Business of the Year award will be presented, recognizing a local business demonstrating Rudisill's strong level of leadership, compassion, community commitment and business acumen.

The cost to attend the meeting and breakfast is $20 per person.  (Since this event is self-funded, no donated dollars are expended to host the event.)
