"Wake Up Tommy" Campaign Gives Emotional Thank You

An online campaign to raise money for Thomas Orndorff of Brighton, who remains unconscious after a serious car accident, continues to raise money for the family. 

The campaign hopes to raise $20,000 for Orndorf and his mother and has already raised more than $9,000.

Sara Faraj created the fundraiser on GoFundMe.com in November. The page continues to give updates regarding Orndorff's condition.

Last updated Dec. 26, the page reads:

An Emotional Thank You From My Mother, Mary Jo: 

"To everyone who has donated, I want to say thank you so much. Literally, without your support, I would not have been able to be at Tom's side on Christmas Eve and Day. It means the world to me to be able to be with him, and we know it's helping the healing process."

Thomas is going through a particularly difficult time right now. I can't tell you how much it means to me to be able to see my mom and brother at Thomas's side. Thank every one of you."
