Photos: Smokin' Jazz & Barbecue Blues Festival Not Hindered by Rain

The festival will resume on Main Street Saturday from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Hundreds of people wandered about downtown Brighton Friday night despite a steady drizzle during the beginning of the Smokin' Jazz & Barbecue Blues Fest.

The rain increased by the time The Hawktones, the second act of the night, took the stage, sending most of the crowd underneath the tent in the Beer & Wine Garden on Mill Pond Lane.

However, a few couples took out umbrellas and continued to sit in the audience, enjoying the music and show.
