Hop on in for Easter egg hunts at the Huron-Clinton Metroparks

Jump right in to all the egg-cellent Easter programs coming to the Metroparks! Crafts, egg hunts, hayrides, games and more are coming to a park near you!

Get ready for Easter “egg-citement” at the Huron-Clinton Metroparks! Tickets are now on sale and preregistrations are being accepted for most Easter events, so hop to it!

“Toddler Egg Scramble” Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 at 10 am & 1 pm, Wolcott Mill Metropark Farm Center. Toddlers can visit the Easter Bunny, make a craft and scramble for eggs. Snacks will be provided.  This scramble is tailored for children under 4 years. Preregistration and prepayment for the program are required at $5 per child. “Annual Egg Scramble,” Saturday, March 23 at 1 pm, Stony Creek Metropark Nature Center near Washington Township/Rochester. Join us for an Egg Scramble, meet the Easter Bunny, make an Easter craft and more! The Egg Scramble will be grouped by age. Fee: $4 per child. Preregistrations are required, and will be accepted starting March 9. For more information or to register, please call 586-781-9113.

“Farm Egg Scramble,” Sunday, March 24, from noon to 3 pm, Wolcott Mill Metropark Farm Center in Ray Township. Visit with the farm animals, make a craft, scramble for eggs, visit with the Easter Bunny, laugh with Rosco the Clown and stop by Bunnyville to see the bunnies. Fee: $5 per child, payable at the door. Wagon rides and food will also be available to purchase. For additional information, please call 586-752-5932. 

“Easter Egg Hunt,” Sunday, March 24 from noon to 2 pm, Hudson Mills Metropark near Dexter/Ann Arbor. Children ages 12 and under can watch the Farmer John and the Barnyard Express animal show, join in fun activities, hunt for eggs and meet the Easter Bunny while waiting for their age group to be called. Tickets are $4 per child in advance, $6 per child at the door. For additional information or to purchase tickets, call 734-426-8211.

“Easter Egg Scramble,” Saturday, March 23 at 10 am and 1 pm, Willow Metropark near New Boston. Come for Easter fun with an egg hunt, crafts, games, and a petting farm. Advance ticket purchase is required; tickets go on sale March 1 at the Oakwoods Metropark Nature Center. Fee: $5 per child. Please call 734-782-3956.

“Fun on the Farm - Egg Hunt,” Thursday, March 28 at 10 am, Kensington Metropark Farm Center near Milford/Brighton. It’s Easter at the farm! Time to have an egg scramble and meet the Easter Bunny. Fee $5 per child; babies 12 months and under are free. Cash only. No preregistration. Early arrival is highly recommended.  For information, call the Farm at (248) 684-8632.

“Easter Egg Scramble with Rosco the Clown,” Saturday, March 30 at 10 am and 1 pm, Environmental Discovery Center of Indian Springs Metropark near White Lake. Share some laughs with Rosco the Clown; enjoy face painting, spring crafts and an Easter egg hunt scheduled by age group. Preregistration required; call for reservations and times. “Easter Egg Scramble,” Saturday, March 30 at 10 am & 1 pm, Wave Pool Complex at Lake Erie Metropark in Brownstown. Hunt for eggs in the children’s play area, take a hayride on the bunny trail, meet the Easter Muskrat, have a light lunch, do some egg-citing crafts and pet live bunnies and farm animals. Fee: $5 per person; tickets are now on sale, and are available by advance sale only at the park office. For more information or to register call 734-379-5020.

“The Great Egg Hunt,” Saturday, March 30 at 10:30 am, Maple Beach at Kensington Metropark near Milford/Brighton. Kids will get an opportunity to pose for pictures with the Easter Bunny so bring your camera! Watch the Farmer John and The Barnyard Express animal show at 10:30 am and 11:30 am. The Easter egg hunt will be held promptly at 11 am. Early arrival is highly recommended. Fee: $5 per child, payable at the event; children 12 months and under are free.
