In Memoriam: Kimberly Foster Binion, 'She Touched All of Our Souls'

These obituaries were published on the websites of local funeral homes from Dec. 27 to Jan. 2.

Kimberly Foster Binion

Kimberly Foster Binion peacefully left her earthly existence on Sunday, December 29th. Her departure was sudden and has caught family and friends off guard. The purpose of her early call is difficult to comprehend, but Kimberly always had well laid plans and hopefully, over time, the reason and intent will be discovered by all that loved her. She touched all of our souls.

She was born March 2, 1968 and is the adored daughter of Roger (deceased) and Nancy Stewart Schmedlen. Kimberly is the amazing mother of Meghan Elease and Madison Casey Binion. Her daughters carry their mother's qualities of having wisdom beyond their years, compassionate hearts, and the ability to make the best of any situation. They are quick witted like their mother and their laughs warm the room. Kimberly was so proud of her "girls" and so enjoyed watching them blossom into the unique women that they have become. These fine young ladies will carry on Kimberly's spirit and love of life.

The family wishes to thank the Genesys Hospital staff for their compassion. A celebration of Kimberly's life will be held at 5 p.m. at Waldenwoods Resort and Conference Center, 2975 S. Old US Highway 23, Hartland, MI.
