Grab and Go Kids Planner: Bounce, Burgers and Charity

Here is a list of things for the whole family to do this weekend.

1.

Where/when: Bounce U Brighton/12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and 6:50 to 8:45 p.m. Friday; 10:10 a.m.-12:05 p.m. Saturday.

Why go: Active fun for the whole family.

Pricing: $8 kids; free for parents and infants who can’t walk yet (must be able to walk to play on equipment).

Where/when: /Sundays, ongoing.

Why go: This brand new family-friendly burger joint features unique burger toppings, great shakes, an electric train and half-off kids' meals every Sunday.

Pricing: $3.99 kids' meals every day; half-off on Sundays.

Where/when: Kensington Metropark in Milford/2240 W Buno Road, Milford/noon-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Why go: Enjoy the outdoors and the beauty of the park as horses pull you from Kensington Farm Center, past the fields and through the woods.

Pricing: $3 per child; $5 per adult (daily park pass is $5).

Where/when: Kicks & Sticks Sports Arena, 960 Victory Dr., Howell/9 a.m.-noon Saturday.

Why go: At least 100 volunteers are needed to assemble 10,000 food bags to be distributed to a local disaster relief organization and third world countries; you can bring the whole family, as your kids get to play in a bounce house while you volunteer.

Pricing: Free, but the good feeling you get from helping others is priceless.

Where/when: , 1836 N. Old U.S. 23, Howell/noon-6 p.m. Saturday.

Why go: Family-friendly event open to people of all ages; promotes musical talent.
