"Art Fair on Main Street"

"Art Fair on Main Street" is the finished product from my demo on Sunday at the Brighton Fine Arts and Acoustic Music Festival.  From noon to 2, I used my pastels and spoke to all the passers-by outside the Brighton Art Guild tents in front of the CoBACH Center.  Many asked the same questions as I wrote about in my earlier blog after the first Brighton Paint Out on July 20, especially the question, "Is that chalk?" Several people knew the medium, since artsy types show up at these things.  Some folks mentioned seeing my blogs, too.  And a couple people said they were looking forward to seeing this result from Sunday, so here it is! I'd like to thank those who voted for my pastel, "Saturday Morning at Millpond," done at the Paint Out. I appreciate everyone's support!  Congratulations to George Kunkle who won the Popular Award and to Janet Kohler who received Best of Show in the competition.
