Join us in welcoming Charles Breed, who is the presenter at the April 3 meeting of the Brighton Art Guild, 6:30 p.m. at the Brighton District Library.  Charles is nationally known for his pioneering work in plastics, and his work has been featured in the Museum of Contemporary Crafts in New York City, the Smithsonian Institute, House Beautiful, People Magazine, and on TV.  His art is in private, public and corporate collections around the world.

His studio and museum is at Dahlia Hill, a unique garden with 3,000 dahlias of over 250 varieties, maintained entirely by volunteers among the cultural attractions of Midland.  Go to www.dahliahill.org for more information on this fascinating man who even ran for president of the United States!
