Meet Becca and Her Friends

"Becca in Charcoal" was created at the Whitmore Lake Portrait Group, which I have blogged about often.  Now she is meeting 175 "friends" at the Brighton Art Guild's 14th annual fine arts exhibit, "Kaleidoscope," which opens to the public today next to Claire's at the Green Oak Village Place Mall.   It's the biggest exhibit yet for the Guild, which has been banging out great exhibits for years, most recently in vacant stores at the mall.  That means lots of wall space, big windows and plentiful parking, all good things for both you and the artists.  In addition to the art on display, there is gift gallery with everything from greeting cards to soft sculpture to original art.   Through November 17, the exhibit is open from noon to 8 p.m. daily, 4 p.m. on Sundays, with an artists' reception on Friday, November 8 from 7 to 10 p.m. that's free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be served, and Becca will be there!
