Accused I-96 Shooter to Get Another Psychiatric Evaluation

The Oakland County Circuit Court case has been adjourned until the evaluation is conducted.

An independent psychiatric evaluation will be conducted on the man accused of a string of 24 shootings along I-96 in October, according to an article in the Observer & Eccentric.

The article states that Raulie Wayne Casteel's attorney is arranging the evaluation, postponing Thursday's pre-trial hearing until the evaluation is complete. Court will reconvene on May 30.

According to the Observer & Eccentric, a state forensic psychological exam conducted earlier revealed that Casteel was competent to stand trial but suffers from delusional disorder.
