Brighton Man Dies From Injuries Sustained in Motorcycle Crash

Carlyle Scott Cafini died on Thursday at McLaren Oakland Hospital.

A Brighton man has died as a result of injuries he suffered in an Aug. 21 motorcycle accident in Pontiac.

The Livingston Daily reports that Carlyle Scott Cafini, 65, died Tuesday afternoon at McLaren Oakland Hospital from injuries suffered in a crash on Huron and State streets.

Caffini was traveling west on Huron Street when another rider turned right onto State Street and collided with Cafini, knocking him off his motorcycle. Both men were wearing helmets.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident, the newspaper reported.
