Hartland Township Resident Strikes Oakland County Sheriff Patrol Car

A 13-year Oakland County Sheriff Deputy was injured in a car accident in Rochester Hills, according to a police report.
The accident happened when the vehicle behind the deputy, driven by a 42-year-old Hartland Township resident, was unable to stop and struck the police patrol car.
Rochester Hills Fire/EMS transported the deputy to Beaumont Troy Hospital where he was treated and later released, the report said.

The other driver was not injured and was cited for causing the accident.
