Howell Woman Attempts to Steal Weight Loss Pills from Genoa Township Walmart

The following information was supplied by the Livingston County Sheriff's Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 47-year-old Howell woman was arrested on retail theft charges after trying to steal a box of weight loss pills from the Genoa Township Walmart on March 17, according to a Livingston County Sheriff's Department police report.

The woman told police her 'old man' was giving her a hard time, calling her fat, so she took Lipozene and concealed it in her bra, the report said.

A Walmart loss prevention employee said she saw the woman carry the box of Lipozene into the restroom and followed her in, then saw her carry an empty box out and set it on the water fountain. The employee also located a book concealed in the woman's coat sleeve, according to the report.
