Lousy Lap Dance Leads to Confrontation at Howell Bachelor Party

The following information was supplied by the Livingston County Sheriff's Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A bachelor party took a bad turn when a Howell man confronted a security guard who was escorting several exotic dancers away from the party after their performance.

According to a report from the Livingston County Sheriff's Department, an argument took place around 2:30 a.m. between the dancers' security guard and one of the party-goers, who said the dancers were leaving early after arriving late and “barely performing according to the contract.”

The security guard told police that the Howell man punched the side view mirror of his car and broke it. The security guard told police he was concerned for his safety, left the Howell residence on the 2000 block of Fisk Rd. and then called 9-1-1.

According to the report, one of the exotic dancers said she also saw the man punch the mirror.

The Howell man, who was identified by the security guard and dancer, told police he never hit the car and was having a “civilized conversation” while asking for part of his money back because of the “poor” performance.

Police found no signs of injury or redness on the Howell man’s hands and he told police that the guard and dancers were making up the story in retaliation because he had threatened to call the company the women worked for and complain.

According to the report, a second security guard told police that after leaving the party, he had gone outside to find a flat tire on his car. After attempts to put air in the tire failed, the guard told police he believed his tires were slashed.

Police were unable to find any cuts or slashes to the tire, according to the report.
