Police Brief: Burglary on Spencer Road

The following arrest information was supplied by the Livingston County sheriff's office. It does not indicate a conviction.

A home on the 1300 block of Spencer Road in Brighton was broken into sometime between midnight on May 27, and noon on May 29.

According to the report, tools were taken from the home's detached garage. Some of the missing items include a 55-gallon Craftsman air compressor, Stihl chainsaw, wood-handled hammer and a hacksaw.

The homeowner told police that he entered his garage on May 29 and notice the air compressor was missing. He then looked around and noticed other items were gone as well, the police report states.

There were no signs of forced entry into the garage. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $1,370.
