Police Identify Suspect Vehicle in Widespread Catalytic Converter Thefts

The thefts have occurred in Hartland, Howell, Brighton and Genoa townships

The Livingston County Sheriff’s office is investigating several thefts of catalytic converters in Hartland, Howell, Brighton and Genoa townships.

The photo at right was taken from a Brighton Township storage facility where the suspect removed a catalytic converter from a parked car.

Detectives believe that this vehicle could be connected to multiple thefts of catalytic converters in the Livingston County area. The suspect vehicle appears to be a Gold Chrysler Cirrus between the model years of 1996 and 2000.
