Video: Shop With a Cop Fun for Law Enforcement and Kids

The Annual Shop with a Cop program helps needy kids by taking them Christmas shopping before the holidays.

The Howell Walmart was swarmed by Livingston County law enforcement officials and the kids they were partnered with during this year's annual Shop with a Cop event.

Shop with a Cop is a special program that allows police to partner with county agencies to identify kids in need and take them holiday shopping to buy gifts for themselves and their families.

This year, about 75 kids got to ride in police cars in a procession down Grand River to the Howell Walmart with lights and sirens going. Each kid was able to spend $125 on holiday gifts.

The program is funded through year-round fundraisers and donations.

This is so heartwarming to see. Each one of those children are just precious. Bless their hearts and the officers that took the time to volunteer. Seeing this restores my faith in goodness.
