Why are you running?

l moved my family to Brighton seven years ago because of Brighton’s great
reputation for their schools and educational programs. Since our kids started
attending school from Tot Spot through their current grades, I have always felt
that the Board of Education is not on the same page with the kids. It's a shame
that they have let the school district fall into the financial state it is in and that they can’t come together to do what is right for our kids. My goal is to help ensure that representing the best interests of our kids, all of the time, is the Board of Education’s only political agenda

I am running for these simple reasons: First and foremost to ensure the safety and security of the kids attending Brighton schools and pursuing the resources necessary to achieve this. Secondly, to play an active role in providing Brighton teachers with state-of-the-art tools to teach our kids. Great teachers with the right resources = Great students = Great futures. Lastly, to make sure that Brighton's athletic and fine arts facilities are worìd-class.

It’s time for change. It’s time to put our kids first.
