Now in its 16th year, the fall and spring book sales are the largest fundraisers that the Friends hold. All money raised at these sales is given back to the Library to be used for programing and special events. Each year thousands of library patrons from all over the Livingston County enjoy popular programs and events sponsored by the Friends. Among these is the popular Summer Reading Program. This summer, 1,584 kids, teens, and adults, participated in the program enjoying performers, speakers, concerts, and prizes.

“The Friends take a personal interest in the selection that’s offered at each sale and we’re always gratified by the support of our community. We hope that this year’s turn out will set a new book sale record, said Lisa Goring, Director of the Friends Book Sale.”
