Department Aids In Safe Prescription Disposal

Need to safely dispose of unneeded, unused drugs?

Hamburg Township Police Department is taking part in Drug Take Back Day, a national effort including the Drug Enforcement Administration working with local police in their communities.

Bring prescriptions and over-the-counter medications to the township fire station at 3666 East M-36 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, for Drug Take Back Day, a national effort spearheaded by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

All medication will be deposited in collection boxes; then police will properly destroy and dispose of them. The disposal is both free and anonymous.
