Family Reading Spells Success

Brighton District Library suggests kids books for summer read-aloud fun.

The school year is winding down and summertime is about to begin.  This summer, have fun reading together as a family. Try an adventure, fantasy, great mystery or a funny book. Reading to your child encourages them to become readers and develops their vocabulary.

The key to creating lifelong readers is parental involvement. Parents have the power to motivate children through example and by staying connected. This summer, share a good book!
