Rebuild America - Defeat Obama Draws Hundreds to Downtown Brighton

A caravan of campaign buses led a procession to Rochester for the Paul Ryan rally Monday night.

Hundreds of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan supporters gathered at the Mill Pond Gazebo in downtown Brighton on Monday to rally before traveling by caravan to Rochester Hills for vice presidential hopeful Paul Ryan's appearance at Oakland University.

The rally, organized by the Rebuild America - Defeat Obama campaign, featured speeches and patriotic music performances.

"Michigan is a very competitive state right now, despite the fact that Barack Obama's campaign has taken the state for granted.  We've seen polling numbers that show the race is neck-and-neck following last week's debate, and we're determined to help push the Romney/Ryan ticket to victory in Michigan,"  Lloyd Marcus, Chairman of The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama, said in a press release.
