Other facts
I live in Brighton Township with my wife of 25 years, Gigi, and our three teenage children. I am an active volunteer in the Brighton schools and the Brighton Band Boosters. I am a former Boy Scout Troop Scoutmaster and Cub Scout Committee Chairman. For 13 years, I also volunteered as a reserve police officer. I have served as a prosecutor in Livingston County for more than 17 years, prosecuting cases from drunk-driving to criminal sexual conduct to armed robbery to murder. I have tried more jury trials in this county than my opponents combined. I am the only candidate to have argued before the Michigan Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals. These cases have affected how criminal cases are prosecuted across the state. My expertise is recognized throughout Michigan, whether it’s training prosecutors, police officers, probation officers, defense attorneys, or judges. I will keep the focus of the Prosecutor’s Office on crime victims and public safety, which is its essential and core function. My career has been dedicated to law enforcement and the protection of the public and I will continue that dedication as your next Prosecutor. I am endorsed by retiring Prosecutor David Morse. I am the only prosecutor running. And the choice is whether you want a defense attorney or someone with a distinguished career as a prosecutor to be your next Prosecutor. The choice is clear. I would appreciate your support on August 7.
