Tracey Flanigan, owner of Art in Bloom, said she thinks that readers chose her because her customers get to know her.

"When people come in here, they end up staying and talking and we become friends," Flanigan said. "When they walk away with their floral arrangement, they walk away with a good feeling. They're aren't just ordering flowers and walking out the door."

Art in Bloom doubles as an art studio as well as a florist. Flanigan said that because she is an artist, her floral designs are artsy, and that may be another reasons Brighton Patch readers chose her over other florists.

"It's like a piece of floral art," she said.

Flanigan said she carries more exotic and tropical blooms in her store.

"I always have birds of paradise and orchids," she said. "I buy them weekly. I'm not the carnation person. I carry the more unique."

Art in Bloom also received several reviews and comments from readers.

Brenda Ochodnicky said that Art in Bloom was definitely five plus stars when she reviewed the business earlier this week.

"Art In Bloom offers the most creative and unique presentation of florals I have ever seen," she said. "Truly a work of fine art. Tracey Flannigan is a genuine asset to the business and general community. Her generosity in sharing her time, talents and resources is truly amazing."

Another reader, Sandee Vartanian Dusbiber, commented that she drives all the way from Plymouth to buy flowers at Art in Bloom.

Four Seasons Florist received 27 percent of the vote. Check out the poll below to see all of the votes.
