Brighton Area Schools Allow Six Snow Days for School Year

The district has used four snow days this school year.

This year, the winter months in the Brighton area have brought icy conditions and large amounts of snow which have resulted in four snow days for Brighton students, according to Superintendent Greg Gray.

Brighton Area Schools allows for five snow days during the school year, which means that the schools still have one more day that could be cancelled before it would consider rescheduling any more days of instruction.

In comparison, during the 2011-12 school year, there were two snow days due to the mild winter.
