Brighton District Library Biz Resource Center Opens

An open house for a new business resource center at the Brighton District Library takes place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 2.

Refreshments will be served during the free public event, which takes place from 6 to 8:30 p.m.; business and marketing librarians will answer questions as well as give tours of the facility, located at 100 Library Drive in Brighton.

“Small business owners want to make informed decisions and gain competitive advantage. The Biz Resource Center gives busy entrepreneurs a one-step location with market research and business planning tools at their fingertips,” said Mary Ann Scott, Head of Adult Services at the Brighton District Library.

The center, the first-ever in Livingston County, is the result of a partnership between the library and the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center of Livingston County.

Open during regular library hours, the new Biz Resource Center offers business-oriented publications as well as online resources and technology tools designed to help business owners and business students alike.
