'How to Get a Good Job in 90 Days or Less'

The typical job hunter spends an average of 40 weeks on the unemployment line. Has your job search stalled? Are you stuck in the slow lane on the highway to success? Now is the time to jump-start your career!

Brighton JobSeekers Networking Support Group hosts a workshop, How to Get a Good Job in 90 Days or Less – Part 1 from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27 at St. Patrick Church's Adult Faith Formation Center, Room B, in Brighton.

This three-part workshop will teach you the fundamental skills needed to get back in the driver’s seat.

Navigating a career path can be tricky. Does your resume need a complete overhaul? Are you spending too much time online and not enough time hitting the road? Are you even on the right track to a good job? Don’t get sidetracked. These and other topics will be discussed.

 There also will be an opportunity to network with other JobSeekers led by Ray Blush, founder of the JobSeekers Networking Support Group. Blush is president of the Ann Arbor-based career outplacement consulting firm Hugh Anderson Associates and managing partner of OI Partners, a global talent management company.
