St. Patrick School Open House

St. Patrick Catholic School in Brighton hosts an open house from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29.

The popular event is attended by prospective families looking for enrollment information for the 2012-2013 school year and also by interested community members.

“We’re excited about our Open House this year and are expecting to break last year’s record attendance,” said Jim Connor, chairman of the school advisory committee. “This is our sixth year in the new building and we’re excited to show people the new equipment in our up-to-date classrooms, science and computer labs, art room, music room, and gymnasium. It’s a great chance to visit with our teachers and talk to parents and students to get a first hand feel for the family we’ve built at St. Pat’s.”

Guided tours will be conducted by our students and parents for those wishing to hear more about the school. Teachers and administrative staff will be on hand to answer questions for prospective students and their parents or as guests simply walk through the school on their own.

While you’re there, take advantage of our free admission and refreshments to the basketball games that day.

St. Patrick’s Open House kicks off “Catholic Schools Week” across the United States. This year’s national theme is "Faith. Academics. Service." and will focus on the benefits of a Catholic education in the Brighton community.

The school participates in many community projects including Gleaner’s Food Drives, Adopt-A-Family, Red Cross initiatives, clothing/toiletry donations for the homeless, Letters to Our Troops, and many other charitable causes.

St. Patrick offers a quality education from kindergarten through eighth grade; students can enter at any grade level.

Openings are still available for the coming school year in most grades. Visit the website at www.stpatschool.org for more information.
